How do I get a press pass?

All journalists must pre-register to qualify for press accreditation. Complementary press tickets are provided first to those working to commission. Whilst we will try to accommodate all Press personnel, allocation will be limited, working on a first come first served basis. If you wish to register, please email your name, publication/outlet and your contact details to RMerriman@advent-communications.co.uk or to sdavies@advent-communications.co.uk

Photographers’ passes

We only accredit 10 photographers, and they are entitled to enter the parade area at their own risk.

 Can I arrange interviews prior to the Festival?

Representatives of Shakespeare’s Celebrations Partnership will be available for media interview by prior arrangement. Where the interview relates to the writer or performer appearing at the Festival we will do everything we can to facilitate this. Can we film the parade?

Access to the site can be made available for discreet crews. Details on filming other events apart from the Birthday Parade can be found in the media pack, which is distributed to accredited media.

Foreign television companies may purchase festival footage. Please contact us to gain access to footage.
